I designed the Holiday Delights’ Special Dark Chocolate box with almonds for a fictional company to target middle-aged women who love the holidays and chocolate. When they selects their chocolates, they are looking for quality and sophistication. The bar should look and feel high quality. To meet the needs of the target market, I designed it to be centered around a nutcracker. The nutcracker is made up of strong lines and curves to convey a sense of quality and sophistication, emphasized by the crown-like hat and decorations on its torso. To add some luxury and show the almonds, I added line art of almonds around the nutcracker to tie everything together.
