Project Scope

Every five years, Walla Walla University attends the Adventist General Conference. This is the perfect time for them to recruit potential students and inform conference participants about the achievements of the University’s engineering department.

I managed the design of the graphics for the main booth structure. The project's scope was to create a simple design that would not distract from the items on display while still enticing visitors from across the room to take a look.

Working within the booth manufacturers' templates and specs, I created a simple design that uses large photos of WWU students and faculty in dynamic poses to spark interest among passersby and showcase some of the University’s personality through these photos. Each photo had to be optimized for printing at such a large scale.

I was also in charge of designing the information signs for each exhibit. Each of these had its own challenges to address to create a seamless look for each sign. The signs needed to look simple, as they serve as supplemental information for their exhibit, but they also needed to be visible from afar.

The booth design was a success, helping Walla Walla University stand out from the crowd and make an impact on attendees.
